Tom Cooper grew up Oldest off 7 Children. His Late Mum Patricia and Dad Tom loved, music.There was always sessions in the house.Dad Tom played the button accordian and at 10 years of age Tom Got his first Guitar from His late Uncle Jim (Seamus) Cooper.

 Tom was singing and at the guitar every other minute. Played on stage for the first time as part of "The Corrig Group"for the patients of Moore abbey, Monasterevin  with his Uncles Martin,Pat and Jim Cooper along with Joe Delaney.These are the men who started and indead put the music into Tom Cooper.The very first song and he was trembling with fright and nerves was, "Ghost Story"

His familys music gene covered everything from Don Williams to Smokie and everything in between.
